my ideal sabbatical (related to travel) .... (Shantanu)

Tell us about where all you would travel if you had 6 months and a reasonable budget.

The things I would like to do
- Hit South America for atleast 2 months
- The Amazon jungle : I would definitely take a canoe trip through the jungle and try and find my anaconda :)
- Some beach resort for a week
- machu pichu
- backpack through some of the other countries and meet friends from Slb

- Do the Chinese orient express
A friend told me about this. Its a train which travels across China into Hong Kong and even up to Vietnam or one of those countries. Let me find out some more details and update this

- New Zealand
Since Ani converted me into a LOTR fan, I have been dying to go through NZ and backpack/hike/just loiter. If I can get some scenic sky diving in over one of the LOTR locations, nothing better :)

- Australia
Got family there, so why not ?

- Africa
Egypt for sure - got lots of friends there :)
A hike or boat ride through the jungle again would be my first priority though

hmm - this would be soooooo aweosme :)

But, now that I have decided to start my frigging summer camp, I cant do any of this. Its a long life though, will definitely do all of this before long :)
