Pretty good article on the eating places in Delhi. A good starting point for someone new there or even for someone looking to explore some of the newer joints.

Tell us about where all you would travel if you had 6 months and a reasonable budget.

The things I would like to do
- Hit South America for atleast 2 months
- The Amazon jungle : I would definitely take a canoe trip through the jungle and try and find my anaconda :)
- Some beach resort for a week
- machu pichu
- backpack through some of the other countries and meet friends from Slb

- Do the Chinese orient express
A friend told me about this. Its a train which travels across China into Hong Kong and even up to Vietnam or one of those countries. Let me find out some more details and update this

- New Zealand
Since Ani converted me into a LOTR fan, I have been dying to go through NZ and backpack/hike/just loiter. If I can get some scenic sky diving in over one of the LOTR locations, nothing better :)

- Australia
Got family there, so why not ?

- Africa
Egypt for sure - got lots of friends there :)
A hike or boat ride through the jungle again would be my first priority though

hmm - this would be soooooo aweosme :)

But, now that I have decided to start my frigging summer camp, I cant do any of this. Its a long life though, will definitely do all of this before long :)

Cheap travel tips 1

Got this from the Forbes small business newsletter which was sharing travel tips for small business companies. Pretty interesting stuff. The ones which stood out for me -

1. Be a courier (www.aircourier.org)
Remember Euro trip ? You can register on this website and potentially get cheap tickets if you carry documents for companies. Worth exploring.

2. Start a travel blog
Then ask for comps wherever you go saying you are writing reviews for a much read travel website. Thing to remember is that you have to make sure you follow up on your commitment and write down the review.
Well ya, this blog is motivated by that to an extent too ;)

3. Marry a flight attendant - heh heh
If you needed another reason to hit on that hot flight attendant ;)
